July 1st - Pray for the Doctors

On July 1st we celebrate the Doctors Day in India. This day has been chosen in India, as a mark of respect to the contributions made by Dr. Bidhan Chandra Roy, who left an indelible mark in the history of medical profession in India. As a Jesus Youth can we make it a point to give our dear doctors in the movement and all the doctors in the world a 'Prayer gift" recognizing them and also pray that they may be granted the grace from above to live a life pleasing to the Lord and a life of service to humanity.

We request you to join us as one family to intercede for our dear doctors to become beacons of light to society and that they may have the strength to stand up for life and respect it, though may times it remains a challenge and a contradiction in our times.

You could join us in any or all the following ways:
  • Attend mass on July 1st and offer it for the doctors of the movement and the rest of the doctors of the world.
  • Recite a rosary or atleast a decade of the rosary for the doctors on July 1st.
  • Organise a gathering of Doctors/medical students in your region / hospital / college to pray together as one family. (e.g. adoration, outreach etc)
We hope and pray that each of you would join us and each of you would encourage as many people from your region and prayer meetings to join us too.

P.s. Please do collect the number of masses, number of rosaries / decades or even if you are planning to organise an event in this regard and keep us informed at 9035541824 or doctors@jesusyouth.org
