Jesus Youth Jubilee - Doctors Gathering

It was a 5 day gathering which saw around 20,000 Jesus Youth's from around 29 countries at Rajagiri college Campus, Cochin, Kerala - It was the Jesus Youth Jubilee Conference 2010.
During this conference more than 400 medical students and doctors gathered to pray and look forward as to how they could make a difference in the future. The various speakers on this occasion were Fr. (Dr. ) Mathew Abraham (Executive Secretary, CBCI health comission), Dr.Nishan Mathias, Dr. Julio, Dr.Manoj Abraham, Dr.Finto, Dr.Celine Kujur and Ms.Mimi. Dr.Mammen and Dr.Don were the masters of ceremony (MC's) for the whole programme.
The entire gathering went out with a new zeal and renewed fire for the Lord and his Kingdom

A doctors reach

The first Jesus Youth Doctors newsletter has been released and has begun circulation. It is a 4 paged newsletter containing the mission experiences of a few medical students and doctors who traveled to the north eastern parts of the country (India) providing their medical services to the needy.

Medicos for Mission

As an initiative of the Professional Core team of Kerala, a group of medical students who finished their final Year MBBS, went forward for a month medical mission to Agarthala (North East). Presently they have finished their mission and are on their way back.

National Doctors Conference '09

Yesterday was another milestone for the National Doctors Core Team. 31 participants from Karnataka, Madhya Pradesh, Mumbai and Tamil Nadu attended a 3 day conference held at SVD Vijanajyothi, Pillathara, Kerala. The conference on the three days saw resources like Fr.Abraham Pallivatikal, Fr.Joe, Dr.Cessal, Dr.Nishan Mathias, Mammen, Siljo and Rodney who took enlightening sessions about how to like a life as a
True Christian Doctor and the call of the present age.

At the end of the third day the participants were very happy and thank God for making it possible for them to attend such a programme.

Firebrands

Dr. Celine, a paediatrician from Indore, MP finished a one month training in Thailand along with 29 other people from 13 countries of the world, at the Jesus Youth International Fulltimers Training, 2009.

JY Doctor On A Mission

Dr Anna Pulickal joined JY professionals from Kerala on a month long mission trip to the North East. Alongside 6 engineers and a nun , she shared amazing experiences working at a PHC there . Her testimony will indeed light many a lamp to burn for the Lord..
